The Script Therapist is in!
What is Script Therapy?
Script Therapy is the name I give to one-off script-editing sessions that I conduct in order to help screenwriters progress their script, and their script-thinking, to the next stage. Each one is full of interesting questions, observations and insights to help improve the script. Script therapy is anything but touchy-feely but instead examines what exactly the writer is trying to create, how that can be changed and improved, as well as things like how that project fits into the current marketplace.
How it works
You send me your script; I read it — a few times, actually, in order to ‘live’ with it — and then after a couple of days arrange to speak with you for a session that lasts for between one and two hours. As we go through the story, scenes and characters, I help you to discover all that is good and all that is problematic about your script — and crucially fire you up with ideas and solutions about how best to get that script to live its best life. (Coming up with ideas and steers to resolve script problems is my forte.) Each one-off session is very lively, surprising and insightful — and above all constructive. Nothing, in short, to be scared of (and entirely free of jargon).
The cost for this service is a flat fee of £300. If that sounds up your street, then click the button below to get started and let’s get you some Script Therapy!
Send me your scriptIf you have any questions or anything you’d like to know more about then you can take a look at the FAQs page or, by all means, send me a preliminary email.
If you send your script today, the day after tomorrow we could be talking.
